Karina Attends ESPY Awards

Karina attended the 2012 ESPY Awards on July 11th at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles.
Sport's biggest names got dressed up to acknowledge their peers for various accomplishments at the 20th annual awards ceremony. Karina wore a bright, summery yellow dress with cute shoulder-pad sleeves.
Among the many highlights of the evening was Floyd Mayweather, Jr., Karina's partner during Season 5 of DWTS, being named Best Fighter. Another memorable moment was when women's basketball head coach Pat Summitt received the Arthur Ashe Award.
Ballroom dancing is an intense aerobic activity that requires the use of all major muscle groups for strength and balance. In the mid-90's the International Olympic Committee acknowledged that the degree of stamina required in the sport is similar to that of an Olympic sprinter. This led to the name change from ballroom dance to DanceSport. Many are predicting that it will be included in the Olympic Games.
