Karina Smirnoff’s Dancing Secrets

Karina recently gave an exclusive interview to Fitness Magazine reporter Karla Walsh who asked Karina her secrets to staying energized and fit despite an amazingly hectic schedule. It certainly takes a lot of stamina to reach the semi-finals on Dancing with the Stars. This is the 2nd time Karina has reached the semi's; she's reached the quarter-finals 5 times. So how does she pull it off, rehearsing everyday for seven or eight hours and then rushing to her new dance studio to teach fitness classes? Diet plays a big part in her maintaining her energy level. Her biggest challenge actually is often how to relax and wind down. Karina finds yoga is a great way to do that. Having a partner this season like Ralph Macchio, who is as dedicated as she is, certainly helps lower the level of mental stress. Read the Fitness Magazine interview here.
