Karina Attends Lupus LA Orange Ball

Karina attended the 12th Annual Lupus LA Orange Ball at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Thursday, May 24th.
Karina is proud to lend her support to Lupus LA, a non-profit organization that promotes lupus research, awareness, and education, and serves the needs of people with lupus and their families in Los Angeles County. Lupus is a chronic inflammatory disease that occurs when your body’s immune system attacks your own tissues and organs. More than 1.5 million Americans have lupus.
“The Orange Ball is our biggest fundraiser," says Lupus LA Chairman, Adam Selkowitz. "We are grateful to all of our supporters as we continue to grow each and every year.”

My uncle had lupus for many years and died at 69 several years ago. His widow is a professional dancer. Her name is deann shapiro (waldman)
