Karina Rings In 2013 in Miami Beach

Karina rang in the New Year in Miami Beach.
Karina hosted a disco-themed New Year’s Eve party at the Catalina Hotel on Miami's famed South Beach. "It's called Studio 54, so it's right up my alley. It will definitely be shiny and sparkly."
There is no need for Karina to make resolutions to workout more or eat healthier; instead, she is choosing to look inward for inspiration.
"This year, I'm only going to have one resolution, and that's to approach every situation with a more positive outlook. 2013 is a new beginning for me and a time to change from within."
Karina has a lot to look forward to in the coming year, including her leading role in a movie written and directed by Ralph Macchio. The movie tells the story about two people who have a chance encounter that gives them a new perspective on life.
The film also stars four-time Academy Award nominated actress Marsha Mason and might be a bit of a tear-jerker, but Karina says, "It's about finding peace within yourself and helping others in life. It leaves you thinking and hopeful."
"Seeing Ralph behind the cameras was definitely memorable," she adds. "The whole filming process was one of the most amazing experiences of my life."
While she was in Miami, Karina also enjoyed some relaxation poolside.
