Congratulations to Dancing with the Stars Season 13 Champions J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff!
Thirteen was a lucky number for J.R. and Karina, who endured months of rehearsals and 10 grueling weeks of competition to take home the famous Mirror Ball Trophy. Karina participated in several events in October to show her support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Recently, she participated in Joico's Beauty for a Cure event. Joico seeks to make a difference in the lives of breast cancer patients and survivors by hosting "Beauty for a Cure" Fundraisers at local salons. At a fundraiser near her, Karina shared her own personal story about her grandmother's battle with breast cancer. Watch a video of Karina at the event.

Karina and other celebrities participated in the 18th annual QVC and Fashion Footwear Association of New York (FFANY) "FFANY Shoes on Sale," a shoe sale to benefit breast cancer research and education.
Karina joined Ali Fedotowsky of the Bachelorette, Lisa Vanderpump of RHOBH, Kathy Hilton actress and mother of Paris Hilton, Lisa Rinna and others putting their best foot forward in the fight against breast cancer.
This year’s program aired on QVC on Saturday, October 15th and allowed shoppers to support a great cause while enjoying fantastic deals on fabulous designer shoes.
