Karina joined other celebrities on Thursday, September 22nd in Los Angeles at a Celebrity Poker Tournament to support Lupus LA. There was plenty of mixing, mingling and poker playing as Karina and others lent their support to this worthy cause. Lupus LA promotes lupus research, awareness, and education, and serves the needs of people with lupus and their families in Los Angeles County. Rehearsals for Season 13 of Dancing with the Stars continue to go great for Karina and J.R.! They took a brief rest to talk to People Magazine about how the preparation is going. "I've learned so much; Karina is an amazing talent," J.R. says. "She has shown me that it's all posture, and framing and being elegant. It's all about fingers and toes. Karina is back for Season 13 of Dancing with the Stars. Incredibly, this will be her 10th season on the hit TV show. Her partner for Season 13 is actor, motivational speaker, retired U.S. Army soldier J.R. Martinez. J.R. is known for his starring role on ABC's All My Children and tours the country sharing his experiences as a soldier. J.R. was severely wounded in Iraq. He works tirelessly for veteran causes.
